Welcome to Nina's Cupboard,

My work is heavily induced by Ukrainian folk art I was introduced to as a child, which have stuck to my heart. My process begins with a spark of inspiration, which leads to a deeper sense of self. When sketching my visions, I am reintroduced to my roots while reinforcing my own ability to create. With this, I am able to face my fear of drawing imperfectly, while reclaiming beautiful items of clothing- turning them into unique pieces. I sell my art at markets throughout New England.
